What's new?

We've added several new features and improvements to Access StockLink in this version:

  • KV SMS notifications - Chefs can now mark orders as ready for collection on the Kitchen Video display, which instantly sends an SMS notification to the customer. This removes the need for manual staff processes, reduces customer wait times, and improves the overall collection experience.

  • EPOS Evo alerts push notifications - Critical operational alerts, such as voids and refunds that exceed threshold values, are now delivered as push notifications via Evo Feed. Site and area managers can receive these alerts in real time without relying on email, enabling faster responses to key events.

  • Clerk events for third-party integrations - Changes to clerk records are now broadcast to third-party systems via RELAY. This enables real-time workforce data synchronisation across connected platforms whenever a clerk record is added or updated.

  • Business Sheet performance improvement - Business Sheet reports now load faster thanks to SQL query optimisations that improve plan caching and reduce wait times for commonly accessed reports.


⚠️ Warning: The ability to disable EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) for credit card capture has been removed. Credit card details can no longer be stored locally on POS terminals. All card transactions must now be handled through the EFT device. This change is required to reduce PCI compliance risk.


What we've fixed

We've resolved several issues within the Access StockLink application:

  • Business Sheet void refunds - Fixed an issue where void refunds were excluded from net sales calculations in the Business Sheet, causing sales figures to be overstated. All refund types are now correctly accounted for.

  • PLU Data Report breakdown - Fixed an issue where the PLU Data Report was displaying incorrect SKU units in the breakdown view. Product-level detail is now accurate for stock management and analysis.

  • Stock Result movements VAT - Fixed an issue where VAT was not being correctly displayed in the Stock Result Movements tab, resulting in incorrect gross figures for returns. VAT and gross figures now reconcile accurately.

  • Wastage Report product totals - Fixed an issue where the Wastage Report's Product Total tab was not including PLU and Recipe breakdown products, resulting in incomplete totals. All product types are now included.

  • End of Day Report back button - Fixed an issue where clicking the back button on the End of Day Report triggered a browser data resubmission error. Users can now navigate back from the report without interruption.

  • Stock Valuation Report blank screen - Fixed an issue where the Stock Valuation Report was displaying a blank screen due to a location-related error. The report is now accessible as expected.

  • Bulk update progress - Fixed an issue where bulk updates were getting stuck at 0% with no progress displayed. Bulk updates now complete reliably and show progress correctly.

  • Keyboard configuration performance - Fixed a performance issue that caused freezing when adding PLUs to keyboards, particularly for sites with large PLU catalogues. Keyboard configuration is now responsive and fast.

  • Keyboard exit prompt - Fixed an issue where users were shown an unnecessary "discard changes" prompt when exiting the keyboard configuration screen, even when no changes had been made.

  • Payment transaction reporting - Fixed an issue where some transactions were not being written to the payment reporting table, causing gaps in payment analysis data. All transactions are now captured correctly.

  • Journal reprocessing timeout - Fixed an issue where journal reprocessing was timing out, preventing failed journal entries from being reprocessed. Failed entries are now handled successfully, ensuring no transaction data is lost.

  • Phone login - Fixed an issue where the phone login page was generating an error that prevented users from logging in via phone. Phone-based login now works reliably.

  • Loyalty Receipt Report date error - Fixed an issue where the Loyalty Receipt Report was crashing when it encountered empty date fields. The report now handles these cases gracefully and loads without errors.

  • Goods Outstanding Report blank screen - Fixed an issue where the Goods Outstanding Report was showing a blank white screen instead of report data. The report is now accessible, restoring visibility into pending orders and stock.

  • Cancelled web orders in RELAY - Fixed two issues where cancelled web orders sent via RELAY were not displaying values correctly and were not being included in RELAY data feeds with correct pricing. Cancelled orders are now properly included with accurate figures, enabling third-party systems to reconcile correctly.

  • Terminal data isolation - Fixed an issue where terminal heartbeat data was being incorrectly written to the wrong company database in multi-tenant environments. Terminal data is now always written to the correct company database.


How to access this update

This update will start to be made available from the 17th March 2026. The update will be rolled out automatically.
