To set terminal restrictions, you first need to pull the global flags from the tills. This ensures the system has the latest configuration before applying any restriction updates.

Pull global flags into EPOS Manager

Follow the steps below to complete the process:

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Click POS Control and select POS Commands.

  3. Click New.

  4. From Job Type, select Get POSLink Programs.

  5. Select Global Flags.

  6. Select one till per site in the right column and click Save.

  7. If the till is red, please choose another till, as this means the till is offline.

Update period

To check the progress of the update:

  1. Click POS Control and select POS Command Status.

  2. This will show all POS Command jobs and the time left until completion.

  3. You can refresh this screen every few minutes until the job status is completed.

  4. A green date and time will confirm the update is complete.

Allow terminal restriction update

Once the global flags have been pulled:

  1. Tick Allow Terminal Restriction Update.

  2. Click POS Control and select POS Control again.

  3. Click Global Flags and select your location.

  4. Select Flags 1.

  5. Tick Allow Terminal Restriction Update From Back Office.

  6. Click Save and Send to Tills Now.
