Manage complementary codes

Configure and maintain codes that link add-on items to main products.

Complementary codes define which additional items or services can be automatically suggested or linked to main products during sales transactions.

πŸ€“ Tip: To manage complimentary codes in your system, you can create, edit, or deactivate them using EPOS Manager.

Follow the steps below to ensure proper setup and data retention:

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Click System Maintenance and select Codes Maintenance.

  3. Use the drop-down to select Complimentary Codes.

  4. Click Add to create a new code and enter a description.

  5. To edit an existing code, double-click on the description.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: We do not recommend deleting complimentary codes, as this will also remove any associated historical data. Instead, mark the code as not in use by unticking the In Use checkbox.
