PLU appears without a sales group

Fix unassigned product categories.

When running a Daily Sales Report for Primary Groups in EPOS Manager, you may encounter a line labeled No Primary Group or No Sales Group. This indicates that some PLUs have not been assigned to a group.

Identification

To identify and correct these, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click on the No Primary Group line in the report.

  2. Select Drill Down By PLU to view the list of PLUs missing a group assignment.


Assignation

To assign these PLUs to a Primary Group, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to EPOS Manager.

  2. Go to POS Control and select PLU List.

  3. Select the location, if required.

  4. Choose the Primary Group, Major Group, or Sales Group view.

  5. For any PLU listed without a group, click in the relevant column and select the correct group.

  6. Save any changes.

  7. Send the updates to POS using POS Updates.
