Clear the printer buffer to resolve the red error light and stop any stuck print jobs.

If your receipt printer connected to EPOS Manager is showing a red error light, it may be due to a stuck print job or a physical obstruction. Performing a buffer clear and checking the ribbon mechanism can help resolve the issue.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. Press and hold the feed button.

  3. While holding the feed button, turn the printer back on.

  4. Release your finger from the feed button.

  5. Press the feed button once.

  6. If the error light remains on, check for a physical obstruction.

  7. Open the front printer cover.

  8. Turn the ribbon feed wheel on the right side of the ribbon and check if it moves freely.

  9. Inspect the ribbon or cassette for any damage.

  10. If damaged, replace the ribbon and try again.
