Turn off the printer.
Press and hold the feed button.
While holding the feed button, turn the printer back on.
Release your finger from the feed button.
Press the feed button once.

Open the front printer cover.
Turn the ribbon feed wheel on the right side of the ribbon and check if it moves freely.
Inspect the ribbon or cassette for any damage.
