Add or amend a deposit on EPoS Manager

Create customer deposits and payment records

To add a new deposit, you first need to create the customer, then add the deposit for the customer.


Create a deposit customer

To create a deposit customer, follow the steps below:

  1. In EPoS Manager, click Ledgers/Deposits.

  2. Click Ledger/Deposit Customer, then click New.

  3. Under the Details Tab, enter the customer's details.

  4. Select Allowed Location and select the locations in which the deposit is valid.

  5. Click Save.


Add a deposit for the customer

To add a deposit for the customer, follow the steps below:

  1. In EPoS Manager, click Ledgers/Deposits.

  2. Click Add/Amend Deposits, then select the location.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to the customer.

  4. Select the customer to add the deposit, then click New Deposit.

  5. Enter the details for the deposit, such as the party date and the number of people at the party.

  6. Select Enabled On POS.

  7. Click Add Balance, and enter the details:

    • Type: Select the type of deposit to add.

    • Taken by: Enter the details of who's adding the deposit.

    • Payment Method: The media used when the deposit was taken.

  8. Enter the Amount, then click Save.

  9. Click OK.
