⚠️ Important: Before you start, please make sure you have no open tracks as these may be removed and will not be recoverable.
If you do not have access to perform this action, log a case as a high priority.
We recommend only changing your master terminal when the site is not trading so that there are no open, tables or tabs. If you use wifi card machines that report to the bill manager on the master till then the IP address of the wifi card machines will need to change to the new master's IP address and the bill manager boxes in terminal configuration will need checking.
📌 Note: You need program access to be able to follow these steps.
To change the master till, on the current master follow the steps below:
Click Program Mode and select Program/Programming.
Click Terminal Configuration.
Un-check the box that says This Is Master Terminal. It's halfway down on the left.
Click Save.
Note: Your tills will all go into local mode.
On the new master repeat the steps above and tick This Is Master Terminal.
Click on Bill Manager and copy check boxes from the original master terminal.
Click Flags 2 and match these options from the original master terminal.
Click Save.
