You can create adjustments to apply discounts or surcharges to sales on your till system. This article guides you through setting up simple adjustments or promotions using the Promotion Wizard in Access StockLink, allowing you to offer flexible pricing options to your customers.
Before you start
⚠️ Important: To create adjustments or promotions, you need access to Access StockLink with appropriate permissions to use the Promotion Wizard.
Create your adjustment or promotion
Follow these steps to create a simple adjustment or promotion:
Log into Access StockLink.
Click Wizards from the main menu.
Click Promotion Wizard.
Select your location from the dropdown menu.
Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your promotion:
Set the promotion type (discount or surcharge)
Define the value (percentage or fixed amount)
Choose when the promotion applies
Set any conditions or restrictions
Click Save to create your adjustment.
Configure manual application
By default, adjustments may apply automatically when conditions are met. If you prefer to control when adjustments are applied, you can create a manual trigger button.
📌 Note: If you don't want the adjustment to auto-apply, you need to create a button on the payment keyboard.
To create a manual adjustment button, follow the steps below:
Navigate to your payment keyboard configuration.
Locate the adjustment you created.
Click and drag the adjustment to your desired position on the keyboard.
Save your keyboard layout.
🤓 Tip: Position frequently used adjustments in easily accessible locations on your payment keyboard for quicker access during transactions.
