Overview of Business Sheets

A business sheet is a weekly financial summary used to reconcile income and expenditure within the Access EPoS Manager.

Business Sheet helps businesses track performance, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting across trading weeks.

Key Functions and workflows

  • Opening and completing a week:

    • Navigate to the Expenditure Tab and click Complete Week to view any discrepancies.

    • If there is a variance, include the discrepancy in the Banking Details under Under/Over to balance totals.

  • Handling Variances

    • Variances often stem from:

      • Open tracks, like unclosed sales tables.

      • Missing petty cash entries.

      • Incomplete banking updates.

    • Use the End of Day Report or Open Tracks Report to identify unresolved sales.

  • Reopening a Closed Sheet:

    • If a sheet is closed in error, raise a case with Support.

    • Specify the reporting weekโ€™s closure date to ensure accurate reopening.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Business Sheet is essential for maintaining financial transparency and operational control in retail environments using Access EPoS Manager.
