To safely disinfect your till, it's important to follow proper cleaning procedures that protect both the equipment and your team.
Use the steps below with EPOS Manager in mind:
Unplug the till and all connected peripherals completely, including any battery backup. Disconnect power cables if possible.
Use a lint-free cloth or cotton swab with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution.
Avoid cleaning products containing acetone, nitric acid, or ammonia.
Apply the alcohol solution directly to the cleaning material, not the till.
Gently wipe the exterior surfaces of the POS in a well-ventilated area.
